How is my donation used?
When you make a legacy donation to Club 1872 your donation will be used solely to acquire shares in Rangers International Football Club PLC (the parent company of the company that owns Rangers Football Club).
Donations are collected by Club 1872 Shares Community Interest Company and will then be distributed as follows:
- 5% will be paid to Club 1872 Limited to meet administrative and marketing expenses
- 95% will be retained by Club 1872 Shares Community Interest Company to purchase shares in RIFC.
In respect of payments to Club 1872 Limited, Club 1872 Shares Community Interest Company is acting as a collection agent only.
How is my donation used?
When you make a standard donation to Club 1872 you can choose whether your donations are used to support projects or to acquire shares in Rangers International Football Club PLC (the parent company of the company that owns Rangers Football Club).
Your donation will be split evenly between projects and shares by default, however you can change this in your member profile once logged in to the website. Donations are collected by Club 1872 Shares Community Interest Company and will then be distributed as follows:
- 5% will be paid to Club 1872 Limited to meet administrative and marketing expenses
- All amounts allocated to shares will be retained by Club 1872 Shares Community Interest Company and all amounts allocated to projects will be paid to Club 1872 Projects CIC.
In respect of payments to Club 1872 Limited and the Projects CIC, Club 1872 Shares Community Interest Company is acting as a collection agent only.
