Earlier today, Club 1872 received the following apology from James Dornan MSP regarding false statements he had made about this organisation on his Twitter account.
Whilst pleased that Mr Dornan issued this, we are disappointed that he did not respond to our initial request for such an apology. However, we welcome him doing so now.
Having received his apology, and as previously intimated, we have now written to other members of the Cross Party Group for Combatting Sectarianism regarding Mr Dornan’s suitability to hold the position of convenor of that group. We look forward to hearing their thoughts on the matter and will update members and the wider support as and when we have further information.
