The Club 1872 Board is delighted to share the results of our recent poll conducted with contributors regarding our strategy proposal to consolidate the organization. This proposal includes rebranding and renaming in line with our growing focus on heritage. The proposal received overwhelming approval with 95% of contributors voting in favor.
In light of this positive outcome, the Board has already taken steps to obtain legal guidance to proceed with consolidating the companies. This includes merging the two Community Interest Companies, which simplifies the process for both contributors and the Club 1872 Board. This consolidation aims to ensure the organization’s success and fulfill its potential.
We express our deepest gratitude to the contributor base for their unwavering support and backing for our proposal. While final changes to the companies and the articles of association will be put to a vote at a later stage, we are excited to provide an update. As we complete this crucial work, we plan to host a formal launch event to promote this change and a contributors meeting to allow the opportunity to meet the new board, ask questions, and share our vision for the years ahead.
