Rangers War Memorial Fundraising Q&A

In our continuing efforts to raise funds to build a Rangers War Memorial to those associated with the club who gave their lives in WWI, Club 1872 is delighted to announce a Q&A night in the Cooper Suite, Ibrox Stadium on 4th November 2016 at 7pm.

Tickets are priced at £18.72 and will include entry to the Cooper Suite via the Main Stand and Marble Staircase, access to the trophy room, Q&A with former players Alex Rae and Hugh Burns and access to a full bar during the event. There will also be a raffle and auction on the night.

All profits from the evening will go towards the target of £8,000 required to build the Rangers memorial as part of the Scottish War Memorial to the fallen in Passchendaele.

The memorial will take the form of silhouettes representing Scottish soldiers marching to Passchendaele. Our particular focus will be on honouring former Rangers player Jimmy Spiers who died at Passchendaele and the other Rangers players who lost their lives during WW1.

A number of silhouettes will be funded to extend the existing memorial as part of a wider fundraising effort, but we are seeking to fund two. The silhouettes will incorporate the Rangers crest and will serve as a focal point of remembrance for Rangers supporters to honour those who lost their lives.

You can buy tickets for the event by selecting the number of tickets you require and using the Buy Now button below. Should you have any queries or wish to purchase more than four tickets please contact  .
